Description
Patient Care Technician
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Patient Care Technicians to join our Salem Kidney Center dialysis team.
To be considered, you must have a minimum of 6 months of healthcare and/or direct patient care experience. A High School Diploma is required, along with basic computer knowledge. Continuing education includes passing the Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) exam within 18 months following the first day of employment.
A successful candidate will have excellent bedside manner and communication skills, as well as comfort working around blood and needles. This position requires flexibility in scheduling, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
The employee may occasionally lift up to 30 pounds,which could result in heavy lifting,moving patients,and assisting with ambulation.PCTwill spend considerable time walking,bending,stretchesandingstanding.Note you will haveregular exposureto blood,and variousbodilyfluids.
