Description

Install, test, calibrate, tune, maintain, repair and modify all plant electrical, instrument, and control systems at the highest level of skill in accordance with training, plant procedures and direction. Perform other duties as directed, including the duties of lower classifications.

Position-Related Responsibilities:

̈ Understand and follow Company policies and procedures.

̈ Understand and follow Federal and State safety regulations.

̈ Understand theory, operation, troubleshooting of plant electrical and instrumentation equipment.

̈ Ability to read, understand and interpret schematics, logic drawings, or other prints or drawings as necessary.

̈ Perform job setup including required materials, tools and special equipment normally associated with electrical or instrumentation at a coal fired generating station.

̈ Perform complex system repair/trouble shooting using limited information and instructions

̈ Perform work alone or in a team setting and direct lower classifications as needed.

̈ Maintain a high level of awareness and responsibility for the environmental considerations that impact them, their jobs and the Company to the level of their knowledge, training and experience

̈ Perform assigned work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with Company practices and procedures.

̈ Work overtime as needed.

• This position may provide services to affiliates of the Company subject to the UNS Energy Code of Conduct and the related Policies and Procedures.

̈ Requires the ability to obtain and maintain CIP certification.

̈ This is a safety sensitive position.
