    Department: Logistics

    Supervisor: Supervisor, Shipping & Receiving

    FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

    Location: Boca Raton, FL - Warehouse Location

    Salary: $16.50/hour

    Summary

    The primary responsibilities include verifying and maintaining records of incoming and outgoing shipments and preparing items for delivery.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Compare information and verify incoming and outgoing shipments
    • Determine appropriate shipment methods
    • Apply shipping labels and prepare items for shipment
    • Assemble containers and pack items
    • Organize offloading of containers
    • Inspect incoming shipments and process returns
    • Ensure outgoing shipments meet specifications
    • Maintain inventory and warehouse cleanliness
    • Assist in refurbishing items when necessary
    • Serve as a liaison with shipping companies
    • Possibility of working non-business hours and weekends
    • Onsite position in Boca Raton, FL

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    This role does not involve supervisory duties.

    Qualifications

    To excel in this role, candidates must be able to perform essential duties effectively. The requirements include:

    • Associate's degree or equivalent
    • Experience in related field
    • Proficiency in English
    • Knowledge of shipping applications is a plus

    Physical Demands:

    The job entails physical activities such as handling objects, standing, walking, lifting, and other movements.

    Work Environment:

    The work setting involves moderate noise level.
