Job Summary
We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Lab Tech to join our team at Stormont Vail Hospital. The successful candidate will have an Associate's Degree in medical technology or a related field and at least one year of laboratory experience.
Responsibilities
- Receiving specimens, confirming physician orders, obtaining necessary information for testing specimens, preparing specimens for testing.
- Aiding patient caregivers with solving problems/answering questions/giving technical support.
- Maintaining equipment according to manual instructions/laboratory policies/procedure manuals/supervisor directions.
