    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Managing and overseeing Ox Boost Pump des/dev/production efforts, as well as helping with the Spin Start Assembly efforts.
    • Procurement related activities: coordinate with SC, follow up on POs/orders, etc.
    • Manage the Manufacturing Team, provide direction on task priorities based on IPT programmatic needs (scope, schedule, cost) and receiving status on manufacturing activities.
    • Create new tools and utilize existing systems (where possible) to improve documentation, visibility, and tracking of our manufacturing scope of work and forecasted work.

    Education/Experience

    • A bachelors degree in a related field.
    • Background in design and manufacturing of turbopumps would be ideal, but not required.
    • Experience moving hardware through production (project engineering)
    • Experience Manage production issues and implement mitigation plans
    • Experience implementing continuous improvements (NCs and ECRs)
    • Understanding of complex assemblies

    Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

    • Experience as a manufacturing-focused project manager, responsible for managing scope, schedule, cost, resources, and programmatic risks.
    • Able to provide programmatic support or facilitate escalation when team members run into issues or obstacles which hinder progress on tasks.
    • Take direction well, listen, and be able to have a Bias for Action
    • Make decisions and/or determine what key information is required to enable a decision.
    • Operations mindset understand what steps are needed and who needs to be involved when there are blockages but addressing those with tact.
    • Experienced with a production work environment that will help balance out the IPT knowledge.
    • Some experience in leading a team, strong communication & organizational skills.
    • Experience in aerospace industry (space or aviation).

    Salary Range: $80k-$140k

    The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidates combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

    Location: On-site; Huntsville, AL
