    Description

    The Security Engineer conducts security-related assessments to ensure proper levels of security of corporate digital systems, network, programs, and processes. The Security Engineer will be responsible for coordinating and communicating a timely and appropriate security event responses- and protecting system boundaries? keeping computer systems and network devices hardened against attacks and securing highly sensitive data.

    Qualifications:

    1. Requirement: 2 to 8 years experience with incident detection, incident response, and forensics.
    2. Requirement: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering or equivalent (4 years) professional experience
    3. Requirement: 2+ years of experience in helping/building a security environment for a company: troubleshooting firewalls, email gateways, vulnerability management, anti-virus, SIM Tools, Data and Server Backups
    4. Requirement: 2+ years of experience with Firewalls (functionality and maintenance), Office 365 Security, VSX, and Endpoint Security. Experience in intrusion detection systems? anti-virus software? authentication systems? log management? content filtering? etc.
    5. Requirement: 2+ years of experience with a scripting language (examples: Python, C++, Java, Ruby, Node, Go, and/or PowerShell)
    6. Requirement : 2+ years of experience with Windows Server Administration and VMWare
    7. Requirement : 2+ years of experience with cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques.
    8. Requirement: Good personality to help keep people engaged in a remote work environment
    9. Requirement: Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
    10. Nice to have: Azure exposure is a plus
    11. Nice to have: Experience working in a Microsoft shop
    Responsibilities:
    • Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading security measures for the protection of the company's data, systems, and networks.
    • Testing and identifying network and system vulnerabilities.
    • Responding to all system and/or network security breaches.
    • Reviewing? developing, documenting and implementing security measures for the protection of computer systems? networks and information. Ensuring that the organization's data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls.
    • Participating in the change management process.
    • Organizing computer security architecture and developing detailed cyber security designs.
    • Creating technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks.
    • Reporting and providing advice to stakeholders regarding security incidents and appropriate measures.
    • Preparing detailed reports including assessment-based findings? outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancement.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    SALARY + TOTAL COMP + BENEFITS:
    • Perm Salary Range: $90k to $120k
    • Benefits Provided (Medical, Dental, Vision) accrues after 60 days
    • 401k: 4% match, fully vested after one year
    • PTO: sick time from day one, PTO after 3 months
    • Equipment: Computer, Monitor, Docking Station, Keyboard, Mouse, etc.
    Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
