Job DescriptionThis internship will provide opportunities to gain real-world work experience and meet people in the nursing occupation and health care industry. It will provide a chance to see how the concepts and theories learned in nursing school play out in the workplace.
The Nurse Intern will be able to operate independently in a nurse assistant/tech role. Under the supervision of a mentor, the Nurse Intern is responsible for assisting the department in which they are assigned by providing limited nursing care and ancillary assistance while expanding their knowledge and understanding of nursing. The Nurse Intern will also be learning the processes, workflow, documentation, and skills in a variety of clinical and ancillary departments.
