    The custodian is responsible for housekeeping as necessary to maintain the facility in a clean, sanitary and aesthetically pleasant condition as directed by the Manager, Facilities.

    KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESClean and sanitize restrooms/bathrooms using established practices and procedure. Refill restroom dispensers.

    Clean and sanitize break room tables, chairs, sinks and countersPrepare coffee in break room coffee potsEnsure supply of plastic flatware and napkins in break roomClean out refrigerators weekly; dispose of old food; wipe shelvesClean, dust, and wipe furniture; Sweep, mop, or vacuum floors; Empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers; Use and maintain assigned vacuums, brooms, mops, and squeegees for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, furniture, etc.

    Wash walls (at reachable height only) to remove fingerprints, etc.
    Wash accessible interior and exterior windows. Clean office blinds as necessary to maintain dust-freePerform related duties as required. Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructionsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or equivalent. Some previous commercial custodial experience is preferred or any equivalent combination of related training and experience.
