As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across a variety of Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) domains.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys traveling, meeting new people, and isn't afraid to go the extra mile to achieve sales targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prospect and Lead Generation
Actively identify and target potential clients through market research, networking, and cold-calling. You will be res-ponsible for creating and maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
Translate the company's
strategy into B2B sales action plan and SMART KPIs
Travel
Extensive travel is a fundamental aspect of this role. You will visit potential clients, attend industry events, and conduct face-to-face meetings to build rapport and close deals.
Sales Presentation
Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations to showcase our products/services, emphasizing their value and benefits to potential clients.
Negotiation and Closing
Skillfully negotiate terms and conditions to secure new business agreements. Close deals efficiently while achieving or ex-ceeding sales targets.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting re-lationships with clients. Ensure their satisfaction and act as a trusted advi-sor for their needs.
Market Insights
Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and mar-ket conditions to provide valuable insights to the team and improve our sales strategies.
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
We are looking for candidates who possess:
Proven track record in a hunter sales role, with a strong ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to con-nect with people from various backgrounds.
Adapt to changing schedules and environments.
Self-motivated, professional driven, and able to work independently while also being a team player.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome challenges.
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Previous 5+ years experience in IT/software industry.
Use the mix of sales tools and techniques.
Proficiency in English is a must and other language e.g., German is pre-ferred.
