The Registered Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for the performance and technical analysis of diagnostic ultrasound data.

The Tech shall demonstrate excellent ultrasound scanning skills and knowledge of pathophysiology in patients from fetal to geriatric age , as appropriate.

This individual shall serve as a resource person to peers, physicians, fellows, and other staff members. Additionally, the Tech will assist in training/precepting personnel in non-invasive ultrasound procedures.

The Tech shall also actively participate in Process Improvement as well as participate in Ultrasound teaching and outreach services as needed.

Completion of accredited sonography program. Must demonstrate excellent scanning skills without supervision.

RDMS(AB), (OB/GYN) or (PS) and/or RVT(VT) or


ARRT:
RT(S) or RT(VS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI): RVS
