    Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology (IR)

    Job Type: Contract
    Position Urgency: Normal
    Shift: Days | 10-hour shifts | 6:30 AM start

    Position Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse to support inpatient IR services. The RN will provide high-quality nursing care during interventional procedures and may float to other radiology nursing areas as needed.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Deliver nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
    • Assist with procedural sedation and post-procedure patient recovery
    • Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures
    • Document care accurately using the EPIC EMR system
    • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient patient care
    • Float to other radiology-related nursing units as required

    Qualifications

    • Active California RN license
    • Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology nursing experience
    • Proficiency with EPIC EMR
    • Experience in procedural sedation and recovery
    • Current BLS/CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications
    • Ability to float to other units as needed
