Apple's Product Calibration & Test team is looking for talents to join us developing and engineering the most exciting electronic consumer devices.

We're passionate about designing and integrating the test systems that can help the teams characterize the hardware design, and its calibration and testing methodology for the factory production line to ensure every product that ship to our customers has the best performance.

This engineer will work closely with cross-functional groups (Design, ME, EE, SW, Ops etc) throughout the New Product Introduction (NPI) phase to ensure the success of current and future Apple products.

Key Qualifications
3+ years of hardware test engineering or system integration background
Outstanding HW/SW integration, problem solving and optimization skill
Experienced on design, develop and deploy test infrastructure, equipment at NPI(New Product Introduction) and MP(Mass Production) factory
Proficient in Matlab, C/C++/OC and scripting language(Python, Lua)
Working proficiency in English communication
Excellent interpersonal skills and clear communications
Highly motivated and self-directed
Experienced on image quality, camera performance characterization, camera imaging science (CCM, 3A, SFR/MTF, ISP, hot/dead pixels) and calibration
Broad range of knowledge in imaging and non-imaging optics, image processing, display, color science and software
Description

The Systems Integration Engineer will be in charge of developing customized test systems and its HW/SW integration to calibrate and test the performance of Apple products.- Test coverage design and planning.

Drive cross-functional discussion for test specification, conduct station FMEA for test system design, test SW coding and overall management- Interact with PD, camera design, image science, ISP FW team, System SW/Diagnostics team, tester ME team on integration of calibration and test system- Test station development and validation base on key NPI and MP requirements- Test and build issues triage and fix- Conduct station GR&R, audit, DOE and data correlation review- Test data distribution and Cp&Cpk analysis- Plan station equipment, BOM information and UPH demand tracking & analysis- Train and manage CM(Contract Manufacturer) counterparts and Apple ES(Engineering Service) contract engineers- Summarize top issues with station testing, failure symptoms, FA, root cause and CAPA- Work location is at Shenzhen, China.

Up to 20% travel(domestic and international)
Education & Experience
BS/MS in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering field.
