Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) seeks an experienced Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support classified systems in a mission-driven environment The ISSO will be responsible for implementing maintaining monitoring the security posture of accredited information systems ensuring compliance with DoD/IC security policies procedures supporting continuous authorization risk management activities This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance polygraph hands-on experience supporting Risk Management Framework process IC/DOD security directives DIACAP processes You will be required to be onsite as required by the contract/customer at Annapolis Junction MD facility Key Responsibilities Serve designated ISSO primary point contact assigned IC/DOD mission systems owning system security posture assignment of STIGs RMF/accreditation activities coordination Government stakeholders Authorizing Officials Security Control Assessors ISSMs external auditors Manage configuration management processes ensure integrity traceability secure state baselines authorized changes throughout lifecycle Develop maintain manage RMF accreditation documentation System Security Plans SSPs SAR RAR POA&Ms Interconnection Security Agreements ISAs Execute continuous monitoring vulnerability scanning patch/configuration management baseline assurance log telemetry analysis remediation mitigate risk Plan coordinate control assessments compliance inspections audits remediation tracking risk acceptance engagement Authorizing Officials achieve Authority Operate ATO Develop implement exercise Incident Response Plans IRPs lead incident triage containment recovery reporting root cause analysis accordance policy Provide technical guidance secure system design hardening boundary protections data handling cryptographic COMSEC considerations Advise leadership stakeholders system risk posture emerging threats recommended mitigation strategies prepare concise briefings reports Develop deliver training awareness materials system users administrators engineering teams Maintain currency evolving IC DOD cyber standards threats best practices Required Active TS SCI Polygraph current adjudicated DoD IAT Level II certification:Security CE or higher SSCP GSEC CCNA Security etc 5years administering classified information systems 3years named ISSO supporting IC systems Expertise RMF NIST SP800-37/800-53IC DOD directives DIACAP processes Experience vulnerability assessment tools SIEM/log analysis patch management configuration hardening CM tools/processes Strong communication skills briefing technical non-technical stakeholders U.S Citizenship requried Preferred CISSP CAP CISSP-ISSMP equivalent advanced certifications Prior program support within classified environments Experiece securing classified cloud environments cross-domain solutions PKI cryptographic handling policies Familiarity DevSecOps practices clasified enclaves Education Bachelor degree Cybersecurity Computer Science Information Assurance related field preferred equivalent education/experience acceptable PhysicalOther Requirements Ability work onsite within secure facilities requried Ability pass facility-specific checks Occasional travel customerprogram sites may be requried Additional Skills Accountability Accountability Action Planning Active Learning Active Listening Bias Business Coaching Communication Computer Literacy Creativity Critical Thinking CrossFunctional Teamwork Data Analysis Management Data Collection Management inactive Design Thinking Empathy FollowThrough Growth Mindset Intellectual Curiosity inactive Long Term Planning Managing Ambiguity Personal Initiative Policy procedures Process Improvements What We Can Offer You Health Wellbeing strive provide team members loved ones comprehensive suite benefits supports physical financial emotional wellbeing Personal Professional Development also invest career because better all are We specific programs catered helping reach any career goals want become knowledge expert field apply skills division Unconditional Inclusion unconditionally inclusive way we work celebrate individual uniqueness know varied backgrounds valued succeed here have flexibility manage work personal needs make bold moves together force good Let s Stay Connected follow @HPECareers Instagram see latest people culture tech HPE #
