- Lead a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and career development support
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development best practices within the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify, design, and implement integration and delivery pipelines for various projects, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Develop and maintain metrics to monitor integration and delivery system stability, performance, and deployment success rates; and use these insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Champion the development and deployment of new orchestration tooling and frameworks to improve developer experience and operational efficiency.
- Stay current with the newest trends, tools, and technologies in the field, assessing their relevance to our ecosystem.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, with 2+ year focused on CI/CD practices and tools.
- At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or management role within a software engineering team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to navigate cross-functional team dynamics.
- Familiarity with systems such as Jenkins, Github actions, Gradle, Fastlane, Spinnaker etc. is a plus

Our engineering culture is centered around continuous learning, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence.Role We are seeking an experienced and passionate Software Engineering Manager to lead our Orchestration and Delivery team. This role involves guiding the engineering team in the design, development, and implementation of integration and delivery pipelines; thereby facilitating rapid and reliable application development and deployment across various client platforms. The ideal candidate will be an inspiring leader, a technical expert, and an effective communicator, dedicated to fostering an environment of continuous improvement and good development practices.
Team This team develops continuous integration and delivery platforms for many client applications. Our integration systems run thousands of tests to validate Netflix applications on every commit from hundreds of engineers and our deployments run AB tests that use advanced statistics and real-time insights to detect in-field issues (read more about it in Safe Updates of Client Applications at Netflix blog post). As the team invested in systems to continuously evaluate application changes, it has led to increased development velocity, which arguably led to better development practices and quality of applications.
