**Arbitration Support Specialist**
Afni is hiring an Arbitration Subrogation Specialist who is primarily responsible for assisting the Arbitration Specialists in the handling of arbitrations. The Arbitration Subrogation Specialist prepares arbitration files for the arb specialists which includes requesting evidence needed to file an arbitration, completes SCP and or Subro Assist with any missing data, processes mail, monitors the arbitration e-mail box, sends arbitration award reminders via Arbitration Forums website as well as making calls to the adverse carriers on unpaid arbitration awards.
**What you will be doing:**
Process files in varying lines of business including auto, medical, property.
Gather claim information and determine claim amounts.
Locate and update adverse carrier contact information.
Prepare and review the initial content of each file while documenting and tracking all ongoing verbal and written correspondence in all applicable systems.
Respond/process promptly and professionally to client and team requests.
Review files using a diary system in order to handle correspondence. Review and document all mail.
**Requirements**
**What you will need:**
+ High school diploma or GED
+ Ability to type 30 WPM with 85% accuracy
+ Previous experience using Microsoft Office products
+ Previous insurance knowledge preferred
+ Ability to work independently and interact well within a team environment
+ Strong analyzing techniques
+ Excellent organizational and time-management skills
+ Demonstrated ability to multi-task with attention to detail
+ Responds to internal and external requests in a timely manner and work to deliver quality service
+ Communicates clearly and logically using appropriate written and oral techniques.
