Roles & Responsibilities

Leading welding projects specializing in laser welding.

Analyzing engineering designs for welding requirements.

Conducting failure analyses and cause analyses on welding issues.

Experience conducting metallurgical lab work.

Design experiments and conduct statistical analyses of data to optimize welding process parameters.

Competencies: Industrial Manufacturing Specialist

Essential Skills:

Experience with FANUC and ABB robots. Strong robot programming skills.

Experience in the areas of PLC programming, machine vision, human machine interface, industrial sensors, and error checking.

Working experience with vision systems - Matrox/ Cognex/ Keyence software

Desirable Skills:

Manufacturing process development and deployment for laser welding/ Spot Welding/ GMAW applications in automotive manufacturing, including weld process parameter development, material (Aluminum/Steel) and weld testing
