Housekeeper - Floor Specialist (3rd shift) - Erie

Job summary
Under general supervision performs a wide variety of housekeeping duties focusing on proper floor cleaning in order to provide a clean orderly and safe environment.Strip clean and buff floors vacuum and shampoo carpets; use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools buffers vacuums brooms mops squeegees for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors walls carpets furniture etc;
Clean sanitize restrooms bathrooms using established practices procedures wash accessible interior exterior windows clean associated blinds sweep mop or vacuum floors empty or clean wastebaskets trash containers refill restroom dispensers check change light bulbs keep light fixtures clean as needed,
Performs duties around campus facilities implements setup takedown wide variety campus community events works closely with employees public meet custodial needs area resolves problems ensure efficient safe operations Wash walls equipment use equipment accordance OSHA Institutional safety procedures required work assignments,
Lock unlock assigned buildings secure building when facilities not in use checking unlocked doors report any unauthorized occupants turn off follow instructions regarding cleaning materials supplies accordance OSHA Institutional Safety Protocols move furniture equipment supplies tools basis handle trash recycling materials accordance proper disposal procedures contribute directly Mission LECOM embodying essence Osteopathic Principles Practices assisting Institutional fundraising participating LECOM Scholarship Auction participate scholarly activity enrich broaden student learning experience commit being representative LECOM actively involved community serving Boards participating community fundraisers overall outreach maintains regular punctual attendance Performs other related duties ensuring efficient effective functioning work unit.
