Job Summary
The TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) programs are funded by the United States Department of Education. Through specialized services, their goal is to increase the retention and graduation rates of college students who demonstrate academic need and who are either first-generation and/or low-income and/or have a documented disability.
This position will be at the Decatur GSU Perimeter College.
Responsibilities
- Identify and recruit eligible participants for TRIO SSS Program
- Maintain a caseload of students and meet regularly with students to provide academic career social/personal financial and transfer/graduate/professional school advisement.
- Develop plan and facilitate seminars workshops for program participants
- Coordinate academic cultural educational services/activities to meet objectives
