UHealth Premier Concierge Medicine Physician Job DescriptionMultiple South Florida Locations:
UHealth Premier Concierge Medicine is seeking a qualified internal medicine candidate who will have current American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) certification and at least 10 years of ambulatory care practice experience in an Executive Health, Concierge Medicine and/or General Internal Medicine setting.
Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system is preferred. Effective communication, sound customer service skills and prompt responsiveness are essential in this role.
Compassion, teamwork, adaptability, and high levels of professionalism are required in order to provide the best bedside care and success in this position as we build relationships with our patients.
Willingness to innovate and create is a plus.
Responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to, direct patient care in an office setting, courtesy rounds for patients in local hospitals as well as skilled nursing and inpatient rehabilitation facilities.
Responsibilities may also include home health visits for homebound patients, if necessary, and participation in community events as UHealth ambassadors.
Care coordination and facilitation as well as proper documentation of patient encounters in EPIC are essential to making the concierge medicine practice successful.
Prompt communication of results via telephone, electronic messaging (via MyUHealthChart) and/or letters is a top priority.In order to deliver high quality care to our patients, additional responsibilities include effectively communicating and working with the clinical and non-clinical staff members of the Executive Health/Concierge Medicine team throughout the enterprise.
