Job summary
Provide care and treatment of chronically or acutely ill and/or injured patients. Will work together with a team to adhere to the standards of care established by the protocols for the Critical Care Division,Responsibilities
- In collaboration with the patient and family, provides evidence-based professional patient care and coordinates care delivery with other members of the healthcare team
- May be required to drive the ambulance to relieve the primary driver during trips with no patient onboard or to accommodate dynamic staffing needs
- Administers and maintains pharmacologic agents and intravenous fluids during inter hospital transports
- Operate and maintain proficiency with all equipment including cardiac monitors ventilators hi-flow IV pumps
