- Lead, develop, and support a small team of AI researchers and engineers in building state of the art ML models that shape the future of video software.
- Play a critical role in researching and creating novel transformer-based architectures and applying them to solve real world problems
- Lead the development and execution of our AI roadmap and long term strategy, and evaluate the technical and product trade-offs for ML related features
- Collaborate with the broader team to conceptualize and ship incredible experiences directly to Captions' users
- 7+ years of ML industry experience (or PhD with 4+ years of ML industry experience). Strong leadership skills, with experience in establishing the technical direction for a high-performing team of AI / ML engineers
- Advanced level knowledge of modern techniques in machine learning and deep learning, particularly in transformer architectures
- Demonstrated experience in researching, architecting, and training deep learning models, including but not limited to GANs, Diffusion models, and NeRFs
- Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals (algorithms and data structures)
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans
