- Become an important member of our landscaping crew.
- Install, maintain and repair irrigation.
- Install, maintain and replenish landscaping beds and display areas.
- Trim trees and bushes.
- Knowledge of construction a plus.
- Knowledge in both construction and maintenance of landscaping. Including but not limited to operating Skid steer, trenchers, augers, mowers, line trimmers, hedgers, and all other types of landscape equipment as well as all basic hand tools.
- Installation of landscape materials such as gravel, large boulders, , large trees, shrubs, and other plant material. Concrete knowledge a plus.
- Installation as well as troubleshooting and repairing irrigation systems.
- Perform general cleanup of landscaped areas including removal of trash blown onto landscaped areas, beds, planters, etc.
- Maintain tools/equipment used on the job.
- Wears all appropriate Personal Protective Equipment that is required.
- Assist others with various projects and tasks on an as needed basis and directed by manager/supervisor.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- One year of experience directly related to the essential functions.
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers and other employees.
- Organizational skills to keep track of multiple jobs and their materials needs.
- A valid New Mexico driver's license, vehicle insurance, good driving record and reliable vehicle.
- Dependable, self-motivated, punctual, and efficient in handling work assignments
- Able to work with a diverse group of people.
- Strong team player, friendly, patient, self-motivated
- Professional appearance and manner
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk, reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- This position requires frequent manual dexterity in combination with eye/hand coordination such as handling of equipment.
- Will have repetitive hand motions and prolonged periods of standing.
- Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually medium to high.
- Work is performed outdoors with exposure to the elements including heat, cold, rain, wind and other weather conditions.
- Must be able to travel (10%) within the metropolitan area.
