    We believe in empowering your future Currently, we are looking for a tenacious Territory Sales Manager that thrives in a rapid Outside Sales environment to join OmniCable's Sales Team.


    WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    As a Territory Sales Manager, you will sell our full range of specialty wire and cable, including related wire and cable products.

    The position will focus within a defined medium-to-large size territory with new and existing business accounts while developing and maintaining long-term relationships with electrical distribution management personnel to facilitate future sales growth.

    The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer and revenue growth objectives. You must be energetic and comfortable building business relationships in-person and at all levels of an organization. As such, you must be comfortable covering a large sales prospect area and maintaining consistently positive results.


    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Identify customer potential in the electrical distributor marketplace
    • Close sales and achieve monthly quotas
    • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
    • Maintain and expand your customer base within your assigned territory - up to 70% travel
    • Partner with Account Managers & National Account Managers, when appropriate, to build pipelines
    • Accountable for a full medium-to-large territory objective
    • Interact with internal personnel to resolve customer complaints and questions
    • Provide in-service educational seminars for the sales staff of electrical distributors and their customers
    • Provide insight into sales contracts and pricing with customers; review existing contracts to identify any expirations
    • Review current literature for new developments within the wire & cable industry, including competitive information
    • Attend and exhibit at local conventions to gain new customers through the detailing of new products, as needed
    • Participate in local professional meetings to develop new customers
    • Ability to successfully sell in both short and long-term sales cycles
    • Desire to sell tangible products and services
    • Adhere to and ensure the compliance of Omni Cable's code of conduct, company policies and standardsWork Experience WHAT YOU'

    LL NEED:

    • Minimum 3 years Sales experience; Outside preferred
    • Distribution industry experience
    • Demonstrated track record of business growth and over-achieving sales quotas
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
    • Proficiency with corporate productivity and presentation tools
    • Experience working with or similar CRM
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
    • Strong listening and presentation skills
    • Possess a valid driver's license and operate a motor vehicle with satisfactory driving records
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office

    BONUS:

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • At least 2 years of industrial sales experience
    • At least 2 years of B2B sales with demonstrated negotiation skills
    • Technical certification (Mechanical / Electrical / etc. ...)
