Job Description

As a Security Officer - Foot Patrol in Fort Lauderdale, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support operations through customer-focused assistance, clear communication, and detailed reporting of observations. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.

Monitor access points for employees, visitors, and drivers, verifying identification and/or authorization, directing traffic flow, and documenting entries and exits per site procedures.

Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate notable activity to site leadership, and support operational needs such as checking doors, gates, and loading and unloading areas for irregularities.

Minimum Requirements:

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
