    We are currently looking for a Performance Marketing Manager (search marketing manager) to spearhead paid media strategies for one of our key clients. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of SEM/PPC/paid search, with exposure to other marketing channels like SEO and Programmatic being a strong advantage. If you have 3-5 years of experience in executing paid search campaigns and collaborating effectively with content teams, this role could be a perfect fit for you. This opportunity offers a hybrid work setup and can be based in any of our four metropolitan locations: Chicago, D.C., NYC, or Phoenix.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop comprehensive omni-channel distribution strategies encompassing SEM/PPC/paid search, paid social, paid content syndication, and CPM campaigns, with a specific focus on SEM/PPC/paid search.

    • Provide strategic insights for content planning, identifying new content opportunities through data analysis, search trends, social listening, and competitive research.

    • Engage in direct client communication related to performance marketing initiatives, collaborating closely with account and project management teams.

    • Execute daily SEM/PPC/paid search tasks, including keyword management, bidding tactics, A/B testing, and performance analysis.

    • Craft compelling marketing copy for text ads, landing pages, and paid campaigns.

    • Stay updated on Google algorithm changes and evaluate their potential impact on client projects at Manifest.

    • Produce regular reports on performance metrics, conducting in-depth analysis and delivering actionable insights.

    Requirements

    • Proven track record of 3-5 years in managing performance marketing programs, particularly focused on SEM/PPC/paid search, preferably within advertising or marketing agencies.

    • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Keynote, Google Analytics/Console, and keyword research tools like Google Keyword Planner and Moz.

    • Expertise in Google AdWords, Bing Ads, and CPC campaign strategies.

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a knack for explaining performance media strategies clearly and succinctly.

    • Detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities and a commitment to tracking essential department metrics.

    • Strong presentation and communication skills.

    • Highly organized, capable of managing tasks effectively, and fostering collaboration across teams.

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience is a must-have for this role.
