    A highly experienced attorney with a strong background in renewable energy law is sought after by a leading law firm in Denver, CO.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Counsel clients on the legal aspects of renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, hydroelectric, and fuel cell facilities.
    • Manage and negotiate power purchase agreements, facility operation agreements, and other key contracts.
    • Provide expert guidance on regulatory compliance, facilities operations, and industry best practices.
    • Advise on smart grid technology, energy storage solutions, and energy efficiency initiatives.
    • Conduct thorough research and analysis on emerging trends and technologies in the renewable energy sector.
    • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to address legal challenges and support project success.
    • Resolve disputes and manage challenges related to renewable energy projects.

    Requirements:

    • JD degree from an accredited law school.
    • Active member in good standing of the Bar.
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in renewable energy law.
    • Proven track record of a portable book of business.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of wind, solar, hydroelectric, and fuel cell technologies.
    • Familiarity with smart grid technology, energy storage systems, and energy efficiency.

    The ideal candidate will have exceptional client service skills, strong negotiation and communication skills, and excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. The estimated salary for this position is $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience.
