    Job Title: Massage Therapist at Four Seasons Health Club



    SUMMARY: The Massage Therapist treats clients by using hands to manipulate muscles and soft tissues, aiming to improve wellness by relieving pain, soothing injuries, enhancing relaxation, and boosting circulation.

    PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
    • Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans.
    • Deliver quality bodywork within licensing guidelines.
    • Customize massage services to ensure a unique experience.
    • Maintain client confidentiality and safety standards.
    • Provide consistent and beneficial massages.
    • Handle appointments and sales efficiently.
    • Maintain high cleanliness standards.
    • Care for equipment properly.
    • Recommend follow-up visits for client wellness.
    • Document treatments accurately.
    • Identify client needs and ensure clear communication.
    • Create a positive environment for all.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Minimum of 500 hours of massage therapy education.
    • Licensing requirements in Illinois.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Sales and customer service experience.
    • Effective time management.
    • Intermediate computer skills.
    • Ability to communicate professionally.
    • Current CPR/AED certification.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
    • Passion for health and wellness.
    • Ability to use arms, hands, and fingers for massages.
    • Capability to move, kneel, and bend as needed.
    • Stand for extended periods.
    • Lift at least 45 pounds safely.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:
    Regularly operates in exercise, recreation, and office settings. Exposed to pool smells, exercise area scents, and cardio music. Works flexible hours and occasionally travels for business.
    Occasional exposure to bodily fluids and physical exertion during emergency responses; safety procedures are followed to minimize risks.
