    Autism FIRST is a leading provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children ages 2-6 with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. Our clinic-based day program is dedicated to providing individualized and evidence-based interventions to support children's social, communication, and behavioral skills development. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team.

    Job Description:

    As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at Autism FIRST, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality ABA services to children in our day program. Working under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and within a multidisciplinary team, you will provide direct one-on-one behavior intervention sessions and support children's learning and progress throughout the day.

    Responsibilities:

    • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by BCBAs to target skill acquisition and behavior reduction goals.
    • Conduct structured and engaging ABA sessions using evidence-based techniques such as discrete trial teaching, naturalistic teaching strategies, and behavior management protocols.
    • Collect and accurately record data on client progress and behavior using data collection systems and tools.
    • Collaborate with BCBAs, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for each child.
    • Provide feedback and updates to parents/caregivers on client progress, goals, and strategies for generalization of skills in natural environments.
    • Maintain a safe, supportive, and enriching learning environment for children, following all clinic policies and procedures.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred) and completion of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training program.
    • RBT certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
    • Previous experience working with children with autism or related developmental disabilities preferred.
    • Knowledge of ABA principles, behavior intervention techniques, and data collection methods.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and ability to engage and motivate children in learning activities.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and follow direction from supervisory staff.
    • Availability to work full-time hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
