Logistics Coordinator Job Description

Responsibilities:

Track and trace shipments to ensure timely delivery.
Prepare and process documentation, including air waybills, commercial documents, and customs documents, accurately and efficiently.
Enter data into the operating system with precision and attention to detail.
Dispatch freight in a timely manner to meet customer expectations.
Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other offices to resolve queries and issues.
Monitor reports to identify areas for improvement and optimize processes.
Bill clients promptly and accurately to maintain a positive cash flow.
Maintain compliance with internal policies, government regulations, and customer requirements by staying up-to-date with industry developments.
Conduct audits to verify shipments and identify discrepancies, taking corrective action as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

Demonstrate excellent customer service skills to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Show strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret written and verbal requests from customers and colleagues.
Be able to compose letters, emails, and other written documentation that is clear and concise.
Present oneself in a professional manner at all times, both in person and remotely.
Have a working knowledge of Microsoft software applications, including [list specific software].
