    Local Travel Physical Therapist (PT)

    for a 13-week contract assignment with one of our trusted Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) partners in

    Helena, MT .

    This opportunity offers competitive weekly compensation up to $2,550, consistent 8-hour day shifts, and the chance to work in a supportive rehab environment focused on patient-centered care.

    Position Overview – Physical Therapist (PT)

    The Physical Therapist (PT) will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for patients in a Skilled Nursing Facility. This role focuses on restoring function, improving mobility, reducing pain, and preventing long-term disability through evidence-based physical therapy interventions.

    Key Responsibilities

    Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and assessments

    Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

    Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, gait training, and mobility interventions

    Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and nursing staff

    Educate patients and families on rehabilitation goals and home exercise programs

    Document patient progress and maintain accurate EMR records

    Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations

    Supervise and collaborate with Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) as appropriate

    Required Qualifications

    Active Montana Physical Therapist (PT) License

    Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

    Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills

    Ability to work independently and within an interdisciplinary team

    Education & Certification Requirements

    Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

    Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)

    Active Montana PT License in good standing

    Current BLS Certification preferred
