Schedule: 7am - 4pm ; Mon - Fri starting asap
As a Journeyman Commercial Electrician at [Company Name], you will play a vital role in the successful completion of various commercial electrical projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in commercial buildings.
Interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and installation of electrical systems.
Perform electrical inspections, troubleshooting, and diagnostics to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to coordinate electrical installations effectively.
Utilize electrical testing equipment and tools to assess the performance and integrity of electrical systems.
Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentice electricians to support their professional development.
Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in electrical technology.
Qualifications:
MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE PROPER IDENTIFICATION AND PASS A DRUG TEST
Completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship program.
Journeyman Electrician license or certification.
Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a commercial electrician.
Proficient knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and standards.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to work in various environments and weather conditions.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
A pre-employment drug screen will be required for all positions
Must provide documents establishing identity and eligibility to work in the United States
