Metro Area, we collaborate with general contractors, end-users, and architects on projects across corporate, healthcare, government, institutional, and more. Our offerings include carpet, ceramic tile, hardwood, concrete polishing, luxury vinyl tile, and other specialty flooring options. Role Description
The Project Executive role is a full-time Sales position based on-site at our location in Reston, VA. Responsibilities include overseeing and managing flooring installation projects from initiation to completion. This includes coordinating with clients, contractors, and vendors, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, monitoring project progress, and resolving any issues. The Project Executive will prepare project proposals, manage budgets, conduct site visits, and ensure compliance with company quality standards. Strong communication and organizational skills are key to being successful in this role.
Qualifications
- Project management skills, including planning, execution, and the ability to solve problems effectively
- Strong organizational abilities and proficiency in time management
- Interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with team members, clients, and vendors
- Technical knowledge of flooring installations, materials, and construction processes
- Familiarity with project budgets, contracts, and resources allocation
- Proficiency in office and project management software tools
- Previous experience in construction, flooring, or related industries is a must
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Construction, or a related field is preferred
