    Description


    Cost Controller AnalystJob SummaryThe Cost Controller Analyst will Prepare cost estimates for construction projects, and services to aid management on determining price of product or service.

    May specialize according to particular service performed or type of product manufactured.
    Job ResponsibilitiesConfer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
    Assist in the development and maintenance of project cost control procedures and systems.
    Create project cost forecasting and trend analysis reports.
    Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develop.

    Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors, and review and analyze contractor and vendor cost reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.

    Prepare cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals for the duration of the project.
    Monitor, analyze and report project costs against budgeted costs and provide variance analysis to management.
    Visit site and record information about access, drainage and topography, and availability of utility services.

    Regular traveling to various unanticipated project site locations in Southern CaliforniaSalary:
