PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a Painter, in Manassas, VA.

Basic Hiring Criteria:

• Ability to paint and experience with detailed work like auto painting is desired
• Ability to read/comprehend engineering drawings, work instructions, and technical specifications
• Strong attention to detail, use of fine motor skills are needed
• Familiarity with basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, torque wrenches, etc.
• Requires a self-starter, someone reliable and able to work independently
• Analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills required
• Being committed to teamwork and having excellent interpersonal communication skills required
• Ability to define and communicate problems verbally and in writing
• Contributes to a positive team culture by building effective relationships with others, contributing to Operations Excellence Teams (OETs) and being accountable for assigned tasks
• Ability to follow all safety procedures, including use of protective equipment
• Looking for a candidate able to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)
• Candidate with military experience is highly desired
• Experience with detailed painting aircraft or automobiles is required
• Basic Computer skills required
