    Job Description Our Machine Learning Acceleration (MLA) team develops the SOCs that are used to power today's AI workloads in datacenters all around the world.

    As a Frontend ASIC engineer, you'll contribute to the project at the ground level by automating workflows and developing large-scale solutions that accelerate silicon development - it's still Day One here at Amazon

    We're searching for an experienced Frontend ASIC engineer with a background in RTL design and/or verification with a proven track record of handling challenges at scale.

    In this role, you'll be working directly with architects, designers, verification engineers, software teams, and backend experts - defining best practices and deploying flows to keep the entire team aligned on our way to tape-out.

    Interface with DevOps team to provide compute farm, network topology, storage, and tool requirements
    Experience with monitoring and debugging infrastructure performance issues
    Experience architecting & deploying frontend ASIC development flows
    Experience with databases for storing large quantities of data
    ASIC Frontend Development
    Strong hands-on experience with scripting languages to automate processes with clean, reviewable, and maintainable code
    Experience with architecting Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) jobs
    Familiarity with infrastructure required for emulation builds and deployment
    Experience with advanced git configuration
    ASIC Frontend Development
    Knowledge of best practices for Verilog / SystemVerilog coding
    Experience with object-oriented programming and software development methodologies
    Hands-on experience with design verification methodologies, such as testplanning, constrained random testing, assertions, and coverage closure
    Familiarity with frontend ASIC methodologies, RTL lint, synthesis, LEC, CDC, RDC, etc.
