    Backcountry Trail Crew Position Overview

    • The Backcountry Trail Crew is a professional team that works on trail maintenance in remote backcountry settings.

    Candidates will work with Forest Service and Montana Conservation Corps personnel to perform routine trail duties, including:



    • trail logout

    • tread work

    • construction of drainage structures

    • hiking extensively over mountainous terrain.
