    Position Summary:
    As a Senior AI/ML engineer with Dentsply Sirona, you will work at the forefront of AI/ML product development at

    Dentsply Sirona:
    embedded in our muti-cultural and worldwide R&D team, leveraging the reach of Dentsply Sirona's cloud-based ecosystem DS Core.

    In close collaboration with the AI/ML scientists, you will bring AI/ML research to life by providing end-to-end on-cloud solutions surrounding AI/ML research.

    At Dentsply Sirona, we work with Google Cloud, giving you the tools and power you need to solve intriguing challenges, and the opportunity to grow your technical skill both in depth and breadth while developing medical grade products.


    Key Responsibilities:


    Assures that the duties, responsibilities, and authority of each job in his/her department or area of influence are clearly defined and effectively communicated.


    Manages personnel within a group with responsibilities including staffing, performance management, development and coaching, training, and application of policies, programs, and procedures.

    Assures that a positive employee relations environment is maintained through effective communication.

    System design surrounding ML services.

    Design and develop testing and monitoring tools for ML models.

    Design and build data pipelines (from storage to monitoring telemetries).

    Design, develop and support our CI/CD pipeline for ML models.

    Collaborate closely with our ML science teams, software architects, and software development teams to bring AI/ML research to life.

    Researching and adopting best MLOps (Machine Learning Operations) practices to design and develop end-to-end machine learning pipelines.

    Provide and maintain research, experimentation and deployment tools for our ML research.

    Mentor other team members, other teams and chapter members

    Perform high quality code reviews

    Participate in interview processes, help the team make hiring decisions


    Education:
    MS degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or related field.

    Years and Type of Experience:

    5+ years of professional experience working in cloud infrastructure development

    3+ years of professional experience in building and optimizing data/ML model pipelines and projects in a business environment

    3+ years of professional experience working with common machine learning frameworks

    Key Required Skills, Knowledge, and Capabilities:

    Excellent communication, project planning, and teamwork skills

    Excellent written, verbal presentation, and communication skills in English

    Experience in working in the cloud, preferably GCP

    Experience building end-to-end systems as a Software Engineer, DevOps, or Data Engineer (or equivalent)

    Experience in developing data visualization tools

    Experience with modern back-end machine learning tech stacks

    Experience in developing end-to-end data products handling heterogeneous data sets

    Experience in developing data-oriented workflow Experience working with any of the following products is a plus: JIRA X-ray, SonarQube, JFrog, TeamCity

    Experience in one of the ML model development libraries is a plus: TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc...
