    Job DescriptionAs a Senior Suspension Controls Engineer, you will be a vital part of the development, growth and maintenance of Chassis and Cab suspension controls.

    You will work cross functionally to develop and deliver robust engineering solutions aligned with business objectives and country / legal requirements.

    You will be a key team member for verification and validation testing and will act as a leader among the team and will be expected to network and influence work on a local and global level.

    Responsibilities Performing concept development, detailed engineering design, post-production maintenance and engineering administration.

    Serving as a member of a global cross-functional team to secure the delivery of various complex components and systems with complete life cycle responsibility.

    Performing, evaluating, and reporting Verification & Validation activities at component, sub-system, and vehicle level.
    Coordinating root-cause analysis and component releases (hardware and software) to resolve technical product quality issues.
    Communicating regularly with leadership on project status and roadblocks and ensuring work is front-loaded to meet release dates.
    Supporting the development of modular systems and components to optimize part diversity.
    Ensuring component durability by requesting analysis and/or physical verification.

    QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering.5+ years of product development experience in transportation industry, preferably in commercial truck development.

    Experience in working with Agile processes and methodologies.
    Product Development experience must be accountable as a component owner.
    Experience with global supply chain logistics, assembly methods and spare parts management.
    Previous experience leading cross-functional teams in a product development environment.
    Preferred Experience, Skills, TrainingMaster's Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering.
    Understanding of heavy-duty trucks.
    Previous experience in Controls Engineering.
    Knowledge of Vehicle Control Systems.
    Knowledge of Vehicle Suspension Dynamics.
    Project management skills preferred.
    Experience in troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical issues.
    FMVSS and CMVSS experience.
    ISO26262 experience.
    Basic CAD (CREO - AVP) experience.
