    Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada is seeking a Patient Services Supervisor at our Stephanie clinic in Las Vegas, NV.

    This role will oversee operational activities at this practice location and will be responsible for office procedure, facilities management, equipment maintenance and daily supervision of non-clinical staff.

    This position supervises, plans, coordinates, and directs staff performances of administrative and clerical duties in support of clinical services.

    These services include patient reception, answering incoming phone calls, appointment scheduling, pre-registration, registration, patient arrival and dismissal, referral coordination, financial screening, patient account inquiry; cash collections, and updating demographic information.

    Responsibilities


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Performs a combination, but not necessarily all, of the following duties:

    Plans, organizes, directs, and controls activities related to the front desk (patient registration/cashier) and medical records room
    Supervises the reconciliation of cash bags daily with fee tickets and arranges for cash pick up with cash management office
    Resolve patient inquires complaints or concerns regarding their accounts or interactions with clinic staff
    Set-up patient care financial arrangements for clinics and manage the patient care contracts
    Review and manage the clinics' budget analysis and aging analysis report; make appropriate corrections as necessary
    Run necessary clinical information reports for staff to complete their responsibilities
    Communicate with Patient Management on status of operations for scheduling patient appointments
    Review and manage the merging of patient accounts in clinical information system
    Reconcile monthly operations account, process request for records and subpoenas, and order office supplies
    Other duties may be assigned or may be modified as business needs dictate
    Supervises staff within the treatment center
    Coordinates activities with property manager and related facility vendors; serves as point of contact

    Qualifications


    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education and/or Experience:

    Certificate of Completion or Associates Degree in a healthcare field with 3 years' experience in front office operations and clerical support in a healthcare environment
    Language Skills:

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence; ability to communicate effectively
    Reasoning Ability:

    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
    Computer Skills:

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, and Internet software; knowledge of ARIA, Centricity, Varies or another electronic medical record (EMR) software is preferred but not required for this position; knowledge of CPT-4, ICD9, and Medical Terminology may be required
