    THE DIRECTOR, FP&A POSITION


    As Director of FP&A, you will work with FP&A leadership, the CFO, CEO, and other members of the leadership team, serving a pivotal role in decision support, working across departments / functional groups to provide a wide range of key metrics forecasts, variance analysis, and reporting.

    DIRECTOR, FP&A RESPONSIBILITIES


    • Supports corporate budgeting and planning processes
    • Conducts variance analysis on actuals vs forecast and forecast vs forecast; conducts trend analysis
    • Produces short- and long-term forecasts for key metrics, including with sensitivities
    • Builds and maintains models for GAAP and non-GAAP financial and operational metrics
    • Assists with month- and quarter-end reporting and analysis, including preparation of board reports, supporting analysis for SEC reporting, and investor relations requests
    • Process improvement - actively develop ways to improve systems, reports, and models; move excel models to a systems-based approach, and point out needed upstream IT/data improvements
    • Manages and coaches professional FP&A staff that efficiently serves stakeholders
    • Ad hoc analysis to support management decision-making

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's in Business, Accounting or Finance
    • Proven track record as a Director, FP&A or in a similar leadership capacity. 5+ years' experience with accountability for managing direct reports
    • Able to master new financial / information systems quickly
    • Experience with enterprise cloud financial reporting software, along with a high proficiency in Excel
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles and overall business/commercial operations
    • Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with a focus on mentoring and developing top talent
    • Excellent emotional intelligence (EQ), communication and presentation skills
    • Legally authorized to work in the US for ANY employer

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience with CPM / planning tools like OneStream and Vena
    • Experience in renewable energy
    • MBA / CFA
    • Tableau and/or Salesforce experience a plus
    • Experience with structured finance, asset-level debt and tax equity waterfalls structures
