    Safety Manager – Queens Creek, AZ

    We are seeking a candidate who is energetic, positive, dynamic, and has a strong track record in implementing and managing site-specific safety plans.

    The Site Safety Professional is responsible for managing the safety activities at a jobsite in Queens Creek, Arizona. This includes implementation of customer-driven site requirements, and other processes to ensure the workplace environment is safe.
    Responsibilities
    Develop and implement the site-specific Jobsite Safety Plan.
    Establish onsite emergency plans and offsite medical arrangements.
    Organize and perform safety orientations for all direct-hire and subcontractor employees working under ECC's contract.
    Develop the pre-task plans with the help of onsite supervision.
    Organize and lead weekly Toolbox Talks.

    Perform multiple informal daily site assessments to ensure compliance with all Federal, State, Local, and Site Safety & Health standards and document the results.

    Set up and maintain all required safety documentation including Safety Data Sheets.
    Perform additional safety training that may be required onsite.
    Attend and professionally represent ECC in all required customer safety meetings.

    Verify all employees' drug testing and safety training status meets the customers' and ECC's requirements prior to their starting work.

    Implement the use of personal protective equipment to ensure worker safety.
    Other tasks or assignments as directed.
    Qualifications
    Minimum OSHA 30 certification; OSHA 500 or 510 certification preferred.
    Experience in Industrial Construction Safety preferred.
    Must be able to work independently to lead safety initiatives at jobsites.
    Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
    Excellent team leader and facilitator
    Great interpersonal and communication skills
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management, and organizational skills
    Ability to speak comfortably in front of large crowds
    Requires the ability to walk extensively, climb stairs, and ladders or scaffolds throughout diverse work environments as required by business demands
