    Join our team and provide dermatology services to SEARHC patients in Southeast Alaska. Collaborate with primary care providers, perform surgical procedures, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
    • Deliver comprehensive dermatology services to SEARHC patients (80%)
    • Evaluate and treat patients with dermatological conditions
    • Develop treatment plans and work closely with primary care providers
    • Perform surgical procedures and utilize medications appropriately
    • Collaborate with medical and administrative teams on service line approaches
    • Participate in quality assessment and educational programs
    Additional Functions:
    • Evaluate patients and refer them to higher levels of care when necessary
    Supervisory Responsibilities:
    • Assist in building a dermatology service to meet population needs
    • Provide guidance to care teams in delivering quality dermatology care
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree, medical school degree, and urology residency completion
    • Active Alaska medical license
    • Board Certification or Eligibility
    Experience:
    • 2 years of experience as a dermatologist in a clinical setting
    Knowledge of:
    • Clinical data analysis, advanced clinical determinations
    • Specialized knowledge in dermatological treatment and therapies
    • Regulatory guidelines and standards of care in dermatology
    Skills:
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Clinical judgment abilities
    • Effective use of tests and diagnostics
    Abilities:
    • Cooperate with patients, health professionals, and support staff

    Required Certifications: Physician License - State of Alaska - Alaska State Medical Board
