Work in a dynamic environment in which you'll use your passion, technical experience, and strong problem solving skills to continuously improve mechanical solutions from concept to full rate production within Additive, CNC, and Assembly.
The successful candidate must have the ability to effectively communicate in a fast paced, multidisciplinary team environment at all levels.
A typical day will consist of being onsite, leading a myriad of CNC/assembly/additive centric activities from concept to full rate production within Xometry.
Using your experience, you will work cross-functionally with internal and external customers teams to reduce internal nonconformities by leading RCAs to improve customer satisfaction through systematic methods.
Support improvements using lean/six sigma principles to enhance quality, additive, and assembly process. Lead internal quick react activities to solve customer issues, or quick turn product. This person will work closely with qc, assembly, and additive operations to drive business metric goals.Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experienceMinimum of 10 years' experience in engineering, manufacturing, or equivalentStrong final assembly experienceStrong additive manufacturing and engineering experienceNestingTroubleshooting equipment and processPreventative maintenanceBuilding Layout design and optimizationFull understanding of GD&T and toolingMechanical/Manufacturing processing knowledgeAble to read and interpret drawings/specificationsProven record of driving process improvementsGood time management / project management capabilitiesInternal audits to ISO standardsAbility to relentlessly triage multiple process root causes simultaneouslyKnowledge of Process Certification/Process RobustnessEffective communicator with data at all levels of the organization
