Accounting Manager/ Bookkeeper Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesUse of AI tools and other automation capabilities to streamline and
reduce task time Oversight of Accounts Payable Maintenance of accurate
financial records Collaboration with 2nd facility staff members on
intercompany billing Regular interaction and support for month and year
end close activities and reporting Accurate and timely client billing
via Midnight, Presort EMS and Quickbooks tools Cash management
operations, postage deposits and reconciliation oversight Administration
of tax payments (payroll, year-end, sales and use) Banking, bank
automation enhancements and fee reductions/negotiations Profitability
and receivables management Provision of information needed for
accountants and auditors in order to complete the books Source and order
office supplies as needed; manage the purchase order process Education
and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Bachelors or Masters Degree in
Accounting required or equivalent related work experience Print and Mail
Industry or Financial Services Industry experience is helpful Excellent
verbal and written communication skills, including ability to
effectively communicate with internal and external customers Computer
proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook); Quickbooks, AI tools
Analytical ability to research problem issues related to accounting
transactions Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of
personnel and clients. Must be able to work under pressure and meet
deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary
service to employees and customers Ability to work independently and to
carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions
given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices Physical
Requirements Must be able to lift 20 pounds. \$50-\$90K depending on
experience.
