- Assemble batteries into carriers for testing using basic hand tools with both hands
- Place loaded fixtures into semi-automated test stations
- Load and unload carriers from thermal chambers
- Perform mechanical and electrical measurements on devices according to SOPs
- Communicate issues observed in samples, process, or documentation to supervisor
- Enter data into shop floor system as needed
- Adhere to safety protocol and lab guidelines
- Support failure analysis efforts, as guided by engineers
- Careful handling and attention to detail is critical for the role
- Experience in data entry using excel
- Familiarity with Windows and mac OS environments preferred
- Must be able to work in a repetitive environment
- Ability to follow documented procedures and give feedback on existing or missing procedures
- Good communication skills in order to report issue clearly and effectively
- Experienced in handling of Lithium-ion batteries is preferred but not essential
- Willingness to work Alternative shifts (swing, weekend-day) is preferred
- Experience in wiring and soldering is desirable but not essential
- Safety training in previous jobs preferred
- Experience working with Torque wrenches and thickness gauges preferred
- Lifting requirement (weight): 30 lbs
