PURPOSE:
The Rep, Member Service II is responsible for developing new business opportunities within federal agencies and military installations.
This position represents the organization in acquisition strategy development, prospecting, and using consultative selling skills to grow and retain membership.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Under general guidance, engages with key contacts at assigned military bases and federal agencies to establish and maintain positive relations and access to Uniformed Service member to positively impact enrollment penetration of FEDVIP products.
Presents, promotes and communicates Open Season information regarding benefits and rates through various Open Season activities scheduled at federal agencies and military installations.
Must maintain a high level of proficiency on benefit/policy changes for all products offered in the FEP & FEDVIP.Develops and executes Open Season activities, including in-house educational sessions to communicate marketing strategies and goals.
QualificationsThe incumbent must have 1 to 3 years experience in customer service, dealing with the public, or related field and have a basic knowledge of the Sales Department, enrollment, billing, account installation functions.
The individual selected will be team oriented and may be required to work overtime as needed.
The incumbent will be customer and team focused and meet the needs of the account consultants and field service personnel.
