The University of Southern California is seeking to hire a full-time Histology Technician I who will be responsible for performing technical procedures and tasks supporting the day-to-day operations of the AP Histology Laboratory within the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.This role requires prioritizing and accurately performing all designated departmental procedures including embedding microtomy staining decalcification coverslipping labeling operating precision equipment working with reagents chemicals making tissue abnormalities visible with a microscope preparing maintaining solutions identifying labeling processing tissue according to specifications maintaining compliance with state federal regulatory agencies.
The Keck School of Medicine Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine aims to shape the future of pathology as it will be practiced in community hospitals academic medical centers clinical laboratories throughout the country.,
