    CorVel is seeking a full time Alternative Light Duty Coordinator. The Alternative Light Duty Coordinator provides staff support to Case Management Services for the Alternative Light Duty Program to include verification of intake referral, follow up on placement & time cards, compiling reporting data and submitting information to the Vocational Specialists in the ALD program.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assists medical case managers with case management duties
    • Provides customer support services
    • Types and proofreads correspondence
    • Transcribes correspondence/reports
    • Organizes and compiles return to work data
    • Requires regular and consistent attendance
    • Complies with all safety rules and regulations during work hours in conjunction with the Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP)
    • Additional duties as required


    KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

    • Effective multi-tasking skills in a high-volume, fast-paced, team-oriented environment
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to meet designated deadlines
    • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Office including Excel spreadsheets
    • Strong interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
    • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

    • High School diploma
    • Medical knowledge with clinical background preferred

    PAY RANGE:

    CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.

    For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.

    Pay Range: $ $25.69 per hour
