    Job Summary:


    This role requires performing warehouse duties such as operating sit down and stand-up forklifts shipping receiving restocking picking orders loading trucks unloading trucks housekeeping duties filling backup driver during absences


     


    • Drive truck to destination providing accurate timely courteous service

    • Collect signature for goods delivered collect payment following proper procedures

    • Maintain driver logbook or ELD device trip reports fuel tickets toll tickets vehicle condition reports comply state federal regulations

    • Become familiar with safety policies laws maintaining safe driving record notify supervisor any violations inspect truck equipment supplies tires lights brakes gas oil water conduct pre-trip inspections ensure load stability balance secure cargo runners boards ratchet straps chains binders assist loading ensure optimal delivery route observing company practices customers vendors co-workers verifies items quantities deliver documents variances when not assigned fill role of delivery drive will perform material handler warehouse duties verify check received materials restock pick orders palletize stage load unload operate WMS RF scanning device power hoist clean machines equipment lift heavy objects by hand move levers press pedals drive lifts control movement lifting apparatus handle minimize loss damage transport ship return products staging utilizing radio frequency bar code scanning technology software hardware performs multiple tasks simultaneously prioritizes meeting deadlines manage time process improvement mindset knowledge inventory basic mathematical skills understanding units data entry computer proficiency experience WMS preferred.
