Front Desk Host Chart and Runner Positions
The Front Desk Host is the guest's first impression. It is essential for the Host to ensure that every guest feels welcome, comfortable, and appreciated.
The guest must feel that we will do everything possible to make certain that their needs are taken care of.
We are looking for initiative-takers with the capability to multi-task and communicate with guests and colleagues alike with a gracious and cheerful outlook.
The Chart position is one of leadership and requires a strong attention to detail. The Chart directs not only the flow of the restaurant but the coordination of their team.Must Have:
Chart Host - 2 years front desk experience in a fine dining restaurant or 4 years similar in a customer service position.
Runner - 1 year in a fine dining restaurant of comparable quality of service, or 2 years in a customer service position.
A minimum of 3 shifts a week, at least one lunch shift and a weekend shift are requiredRegular, reliable, predictable attendance required.
Exhibits excellent phone manners and communication skills.
Ability to lift 20 pounds.
Can "work on their feet" for extended periods of time.
Minimum 18 years of age.
Be able to take ownership of your work and willing to be held accountable for your actions.
Must have stage presence at all times.
Preferred:
Minimum - 3 years in a restaurant of comparable quality of service and volume.
Open availability.
Can carry full cocktail and large oval trays safely & consistently.
*Pay:
